Thanks to Bank of Queensland
President Rob Pakes was presented with a cheque for $8800 on behalf of Bank of Queensland. Rob's long time friend Jeff Walls of BOQ approached his colleagues late last year after viewing the 60 Minutes programme to see if they could help us. Jeff''s Manager, Donna Quinn (Group Executive National Franchise Banking) was more than happy to help and committed to matching any money raised up to $4000.
In addition to this Donna offered some of her personal sporting memoribilia for auction to assist in raising further funds including a signed Brisbane Lions shirt and autographed Muhamed Ali photo. These are still available for sale on eBay .
On behalf of our girls nationwide, we thank Jeff and Donna for their generous donation and are proud to have BOQ on board as a supporter of Rett NZ.
